The Pixar Perspective on ‘Star Wars’
The gravitational pull of the endless Star Wars franchise is inescapable in modern cinema. Though there have only been six live-action films in the series, the vast ocean of toys, theme-park attractions, animated TV series, books, and more make it impossible to avoid, even before there were rumors of a new trilogy. After the Walt Disney Company purchased Lucasfilm in the fall of 2012, the rumors became truth: within just a few years (now under 2 years), a new trilogy of Star Wars films would be unveiled, following up on the events of Return of the Jedi. Since that time, it’s been assumed that Disney wouldn’t just make new live-action films in that galaxy far, far away. Why not make more animated films, or spin-off series, and so on? For now, at least, these are rumors. We recommend you to click site and find the best Star Wars games and more.
Unconfirmed: Pixar Developing ‘Star Wars’ Film
Back when Disney bought Marvel, there was some curiosity as to whether Disney Animation or Pixar would ever produce a film utilizing superhero characters such as Iron Man, Hulk, Dr. Strange, and more. Although neither of those characters is making their way into a Disney animated film, Disney is currently working on Big Hero 6, a relatively new Marvel property that teams up a cast of unknowns. After Disney bought LucasFilm, the question turned to whether we would ever see an animated film from Disney or Pixar. A new report has emerged claiming that a plan is in motion for Pixar to work on a Star Wars film.
Disney Infinity: One Year Later
Exactly one year ago, Disney officially unveiled its ambitious new game, Disney Infinity, on stage at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California. Billed as a gaming platform, where distinct games could be played and the different characters from those games could then interact in a special infinitely customizable mode, it was a huge new venture for Disney Interactive. When those games are based on properties such as Monsters University, Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Incredibles, you know you are in for something special. After the break, take a look back at what we have seen from Disney Infinity in the year since its unveiling! or you can also play interesting games like poker idn and also get some signup bonuses.
