On my trip to Disney World a few weeks ago, I toured the Magic of Disney Animation building at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where Disney/Pixar has put up a nice amount of Brave pre-production artwork. Outside of the Brave exhibit was a poster for Monsters University, likely the first place it has been seen out in the wild (outside of Pixar and Disney office buildings). Monsters University Synopsis, Title Treatment Released
A few months back, Disney/Pixar officially revealed that the second Monsters, Inc. film would not be a sequel, but would actually be a prequel. Titled Monsters University, the film would follow Mike and Sulley before they made it to the scare factory. Further, Dan Scanlon was named as the director for the film, who had previously directed a Cars short for the studio.
