In North America, Disney and Pixar have mostly protected us from the main story aspects of Brave. However, overseas it seems that Disney is pushing more story details to convince audiences in other parts of the world to see the film. The Japanese trailer showed a ton of new footage (good for those eagerly anticipating Brave, but maybe not quite as good for those avoiding spoilers). New ‘Brave’ Character Descriptions Revealed
The official website for Brave was updated today with new images and downloads. Along with the stunning images which will likely be the wallpapers for many desktops and smartphones now, the site also gives us the first descriptions for the various characters in the film. The film’s plot and characters have been shrouded in secrecy, with the teaser and trailer focusing on mostly first-act details. Now, we can understand the characters just a little more. New ‘Brave’ Trailer Has Its Eyes Set On Thursday
It is that time of year again – when Pixar employees are scrambling to finish their summer film. Considering the fact that Pixar films are developed over the course of four years or more, the finish line must loom over the studio for the final few months. With production approaching the end, the marketing begins to ramp up with the release of new trailers and images sharing more information in the span of three months than we have seen in the past three years! Game Cards Give Us A Closer Look At ‘Brave’ Characters
Aside from Brave‘s main character, Merida, we have not learned much about the characters in the upcoming film. Glimpses of them have been seen in stills and trailers released by Disney/Pixar, but the various personalities still remain quite mysterious. New Brave Still Features Redheads Galore
With the calendar turning over to 2012, Pixar’s efforts are now fully set on completing Brave for its release in the summer. The film is the first from the studio to feature a female protagonist, which has the public anticipating it even more. Amidst a preview of the upcoming films of the year, a new still has been released today by USA Today (via ComingSoon). The redheaded Princess Merida and her family are seated around a table and once again, her mother the Queen, seems to be looking on disapprovingly.
