While Pixar films have a great track record and often generate wide acclaim due to their heartwarming stories and complex characters, their home video releases remain underrated. Almost all of the studio’s Blu-ray and DVD releases come with a bevy of special features that not only enlighten audiences about the production process but also dive into discussing the identity of the animation studio. Five New ‘Toy Story of Terror’ Images Showcase Jessie, Buzz, Woody, Combat Carl, Mr. Pricklepants
We are now less than three weeks away from Toy Story OF TERROR!, Pixar’s first television special. Although the project is not quite as large as a feature film, the 30-minute special is still a significantly larger production than the shorts the studio releases every year. More importantly, this will provide us with the largest opportunity to spend time with the lovable cast of toys since the release of the finale of the feature film trilogy, Toy Story 3. Exclusive First Look: Combat Carl In ‘Toy Story of Terror’
Toy Story was Pixar’s first feature film so it is only fitting that the incredibly popular toys from the franchise star in the studio’s first television special. Set to debut during the Halloween season, the 30-minute Toy Story OF TERROR! reunites the toys and their famous voices including Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz (Tim Allen), Jessie (Joan Cusack), and Mr. Pricklepants (Timothy Dalton). Joining them is Combat Carl, who will be voiced by Carl Weathers, famous for his role in Predator. To celebrate the launch of the new Toy Story of Terror online game, Creepy Crawl Space, we are debuting a brand new still from the TV special featuring the character.
