Disney has just released details on new Cars 2 character, Shu Todoroki (which HeyUGuys alerted us to and Slashfilm debuted). Check out the hi-res image and official description of the Japanese character below.
Video of the Day: ‘The Office’ Makes A WALL-E Joke
The Office is no stranger to Pixar humor. Most recently, an hour-long episode centered around a guest-starring appearance by everybody’s favorite sheriff, Woody from the Toy Story franchise. The writing on the show made what could have easily been a mere reference into a creative use of the character. Last night, the NBC show had another Pixar reference, albeit a much smaller one. However, it was still hilarious. If you are an avid watcher of the show and have not seen the episode yet, you are welcome to turn around and come back once you have seen the full episode. Raoul ÇaRoule Drives Into Cars 2
We just got to know Cars 2 new character, Carla Veloso, and now we have the pleasure of meeting Raoul ÇaRoule. A native of France, Raoul is another of many new international cars that we will grace the big screen in June. Disney/Pixar has released a hi-res image, a description of the character, and a turntable video, all of which can be seen below:
Video: Holley Shiftwell Turntable
The focus of promotional images and videos for Cars 2 has recently shifted towards the new characters, as just a few days ago, we saw the release of some great new images of Finn McMissile and Holley Shiftwell. We’ve already seen the turntable video for Finn, and now Disney/Pixar has given us a look at Holley in motion. View it below:
In a keynote speech at AutoWeek, co-director Brad Lewis said Holley could be characterized as a Bond girl, as there is a spy theme to the sequel film. From the video, there already looks to be an interesting (and mysterious) quality to her character.
We will know more when Cars 2 hits theaters in June later this year!

Video: Finn McMissile Turntable
On the heels of the release of a 360-degree turntable video of Cars 2‘s Lightning McQueen, Disney has released a second video in the series: Finn McMissile. The much anticipated new character in the film is to be voiced by none other than Sir Michael Caine. Watch as the character shows off a few of his spy skills:
I am sure that we will be seeing more of these videos as we approach the release of the next trailer. Cars 2 is set for release on June 24, a little over five months from now!
