Every spy movie needs a great villainous mastermind and in Cars 2, his name is Professor Z. His official description notes that he “is an internationally wanted weapons designer in a small, sophisticated German package. He is a brilliant, but mad monocle-wearing scientist who is plotting to sabotage the World Grand Prix. Though his true motive is unclear, Professor Z is willing to do whatever it takes to eliminate all obstacles and keep the “project” on schedule.” Our favorite part of the character is his combover, which is a creative touch to his character design. Japanese Characters Drive Into Cars 2. Plus Retro-Style Japanese Posters.
A number of Cars 2 characters were unveiled today by Disney/Pixar, along with several new pieces of retro-style artwork promoting the film. The one commonality between the characters and the artwork is that they are all related to Tokyo, Japan. With the city being a major stop in the World Grand Prix for racers, it is not surprising to see that there will be a large Japanese influence in the film. There are several well-known personalities in the racing world and Cars 2 is a prime space for them to make an appearance! Professor Z, Tomber Drive Into Cars 2
Two additional Cars 2 characters have been revealed today – Professor Z and Tomber! We have seen Professor Z in previous material, in which he comes across as a character with mysterious intentions. However, Tomber is brand new, and puts an interesting twist on the concept of cars – he has only three wheels. Read on for character images and descriptions.

Rod “Torque” Redline & Siddeley Drive/Fly Into Cars 2
Disney unveiled two more new Cars 2 characters today, releasing hi-res images and descriptions. Before today, we did not know that much about these two but Rod ‘Torque’ Redline and Siddeley but considering one of them is voiced by Bruce Campbell and the other is the biggest Cars 2 character we have seen to date and has the ability to fly, they are likely to be memorable characters.
