The downpour of Brave concept art continues! It’s Art Magazine has debuted several new pieces of concept art from the film, featuring a number of the main characters. We get to see more pre-production artwork for Merida, her family, along with the beautiful landscape of Scotland (which may as well be a character). Again, we have seen these before in the Disney World Brave exhibit, but one cannot deny that it is always better to get a better look at the art in a higher resolution format. Take a peek at the nine pieces of stunning artwork after the jump! [Read more…]

New ‘Brave’ Concept Art Features Mysterious Forest
I was one of a lucky few invited to learn more about Brave at Pixar last week. We were shown 30 minutes from the film and were able to speak to director Mark Andrews, producer Katherine Sarafian, and several more of the employees who are now working to finish up the film soon. Additionally, we were able to see some of the pre-production art created to give the artists a visual perspective of the film. The art was so stunning and full of personality that I could stand and look at the pieces all day. We now have the chance to do that with a gorgeous piece that Disney/Pixar revealed through their Facebook page. Check it out after the jump! [Read more…]

Take a closer look at the Brave display after the jump! [Read more…]
More ‘Brave’ Artwork Revealed At Disney World
Every year, Disney World showcases artwork from behind the scenes of upcoming Pixar films in its Animation exhibit. Pixar’s highly anticipated Brave is now on full display at the theme park. Twitter user Banks Lee, who is a self-described “Disney Parks fanatic” has shared a few images from the exhibit (kudos to @Stitch Kingdom for pointing the images out). Take a look at the images after the jump! [Read more…]
First Look: Brave Concept Art. Also, Behind-the-Scenes Changes.
EW.com has an exclusive first look at some concept art for Brave, Disney/Pixar’s 13th feature film, which is scheduled to arrive in theaters in the summer of 2012. A few years ago, there were a few pieces of artwork that were released when the film was first announced, but in a matter of a few years the look of a film can change. These new pieces of artwork remind us that while Brave is Pixar’s first fairytale, the studio is not looking to deliver your usual princess film. View the artwork (and an updated description of the film) below.
UPDATE: Added hi-res versions of the images. [Read more…]
