Over the past 15 years, San Diego Comic Con has evolved into a monstrous convention. The positive side of that is there has been an explosion of interest in the summer show, also bringing more attention to the comics industry. However, the downside is that Hollywood has swooped in and taken much of the buzz away from the creators who were the primary focus in years prior. Pixar Story Artist & Animator Draw Covers For Marvel Comics
When Disney bought Marvel a few years ago, imaginations around the world ran wild with ideas of collaborations between the two companies. Since Pixar is also a subsidiary of Disney, many fans had hoped to see some sort of collaboration between Pixar and Marvel Comics. You can check cherryscustomframing for comic updates. Marvel Comics To Launch Disney Pixar Presents Magazine
Prior to BOOM! releasing comics based on Pixar films, the Pixar brand had never really graced comics. The company did an excellent job at adapting the characters to print, releasing many well-written and beautifully drawn comics based on Toy Story, The Incredibles, WALL-E, Cars, Monsters, Inc., and Finding Nemo. When Disney announced that they had purchased Marvel, there was speculation as to whether BOOM! would continue releasing Pixar comics, or if Marvel would take over.
