Sequels are a great time for audiences to revisit characters they have grown fond of over the years, but they are also a nice time for studios to re-release previous films in the series on Blu-ray. Moviegoers who have not had the chance to see the preceding films, as well as those who have not yet upgraded their disc collection to Blu-ray are those who are most likely to make the purchase. Four New Retro-Style Cars 2 Posters
Another huge Cars 2 day is upon us, as earlier today Disney/Pixar debuted the new full-length trailer for the film. Now, we have something else that is different but still exciting. Cars Spin-off ‘Planes’ Due on Blu-ray/DVD in 2013
The 2011 Walt Disney Investors Conference has been the source of quite a few new details about Pixar-related films and merchandise. They announced that the second Toy Story short will hit theaters with The Muppets in Novemeber, 2011. Picture of the Day: Snow CARS
Once in a while, as I scour the depths of the Internet, I come across some great images that display how creative people can be. This morning, I encountered a picture that I’ve dubbed ‘Snow CARS.’ Where was it taken? I’m not even sure when it was taken. If it was recently, given the blizzard that crippled the northeastern United States, it is possible the image was taken there. I’ll leave it up to you to decide:
Cool photo, right? Now that it’s been done, the ability to create characters from CARS using snow seems obvious.
