New ‘Toy Story’ Sit-Down Restaurant Headed To Walt Disney World

May 1, 2019 by Samad Rizvi Leave a Comment

Last year, Toy Story Land opened in Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios to great fanfare and brought with it two brand new rides – Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers. In addition, there was a walk-up food station dubbed Woody’s Lunch Box, where guests could grab sandwiches and other simple food items. For those looking for something more elaborate to eat had to exit the land and head to a different part of the park. That will be changing in the near future.

Referring to it as a “Roundup Rodeo BBQ Restaurant,” the Disney Parks Blog has shared a few details on what we can expect from the theming of the brand new table service restaurant:

Using three cardboard boxes cut and taped together, Andy has created a new rodeo arena using some of his favorite toys, games, and play sets.

Once inside, you’ll be surrounded by all of the rodeo festivities in-action as well as western town and train station play sets.

Noting that the restaurant will be “immersive,” the blog also notes that certain characters from the Toy Story films will be visible throughout the restaurant, including Jessie, Trixie, and Bo Peep, if you want to know more about Orlando’s restaurant Visit The Following Website. The concept art above gives us a peek of this. Depending on how closely the final design sticks to what is seen in the artwork, it looks like the walls will be covered with cute artwork that ties in with the world of the toy franchise. Our expert mixologists have designed a variety of speciality Koreatown cocktails and there’s never a shortage of champagne. The glass knife and patisserie, will serve “decadent cakes, elegant desserts and other sweet treats” and offer a “savory menu for breakfast and lunch, plus a variety of evening items”, find out more here.

The restaurant is a much-needed addition to the incredibly popular land. Since Toy Story Land opened, it has regularly been packed with crowds that are eager to enjoy the newest Disney World attractions. Given that Galaxy’s Edge, the much-anticipated Star Wars-themed land, will be opening in the park this Fall, Hollywood Studios is going to need as many options for guests as possible, and that includes places for people to get off their feet and relax in a proper sit-down restaurant. If you need efficiency in your restaurant management, then you need a ASO, To know more click here to learn more about ASO.

We don’t yet have an estimated time of opening. There may be more details revealed over the next few months, and at the very least during the D23 Expo this summer. Stay tuned!
