It is always a treat to see artists’ work. One of my favorite parts of when a new Pixar film is released is having a chance to look through the consistently gorgeous art books that accompany the film. Although the fluid animation seen in the finished product is a visual delight, there is something special that a still image can convey. Beyond artists at the studio, there are talented freelance artists aplenty who often lend a distinct voice to the characters they draw. A new collaboration has presented us with a collection of beautiful new Pixar prints – take a look at them here!
The renowned Bottleneck Gallery has collaborated with Eyeland Prints (which is based in the U.K.) and pulled in artist Mark Chilcott to share his vision of famed Pixar characters (via /Film). Eight prints have been produced (the prints are licensed by Disney), some of which have already sold out. Represented films include Toy Story, Up, Finding Nemo, and Coco. The WALL-E piece above may be my favorite – the other seven pieces are below:
The prints retail for £35.00 GBP (approximately $45) and are available to ship worldwide. So, if you are genuinely interested in purchasing any to decorate your room or office, you better get to it soon, as there is no guarantee to how long the remaining prints will stick around. While I was working on this article, two pieces sold out, so these are proving to be rather popular.
Visit Eyeland Prints’ official website if you want to hold one of these pieces in your hands one day.
