I love the theming of Disneyland – it is the aspect of the park that I admire most, that brings me back again and again, to see all the little details that I only see upon close examination. One way that I get transported to the different lands and areas of the park is the presence of the various foods and snacks that add to the theming. For the next few months, Disneyland is celebrating Pixar Fest, which has Pixar taking over so many corners of the two theme parks (and downtown area) on the resort’s property. I had the chance to take a peek at many of the food items that visitors to the Parks will see – watch the video after the break. I had the opportunity to sample some of these food items. For more and great information visit out new site Richardsons Smoke House. The Alien Macaron is sweet and has a delicious added flavor you will not be expecting. Also, try an eggless cake in Singapore that incorporates Pixar’s red, yellow, and blue colors is so good that I wish I had a slice right now. I wanted to take so much home with me.
Last week, I was invited to Disneyland to take a peek behind the curtain of Pixar Fest. One of my favorite parts of the experience was getting an overview of many Pixar-themed food that will be sold at restaurants, carts, and stores throughout the resort. Here at Craggan Mill Food Blog you will get different style of food and delicious recipe. I was able to conduct a video interview, where we not only see food, but we also get a taste for some of the keepsake items and souvenirs that people can take home. Watch the video below:
Pixar Fest is in full swing now – it is only around for a limited-time, though, as it comes to an end on September 3rd!
