I currently live in…Right now…in Madrid, Spain.
I consider my hometown to be…
I have so many important places I could call home. Since I was a little kid, I’ve been traveling and living in different places, even countries. For that I strongly believe there is a piece of me in all of those places I’ve lived in. My home is where my heart is.
My favorite Pixar movie is…
I love all Pixar movies. I’ve seen them a thousand times, and I never get tired of them. So, you could say I’m a huge Pixar fan. If I had to choose my favorite movie, it would have to be either Monsters, Inc. or Toy Story. But I wouldn’t be able to choose one over the other. They are so perfect in their own way. It’s just too hard.
My favorite Pixar character is…
My favorite characters are Woody and Buzz Lightyear. I think together they make the perfect duo; they complete each other. I love how they built up a great friendship, and how they will always be there for each other no matter what. It teaches us a valuable lesson about friendship and life.
Tell us about your piece…
As you may now know, I’m a Pixar fan, so from the beginning I knew I wanted to draw as many characters in my piece as I could. Then, as I got the chance to be featured in the month of July, I thought it would be a fun idea to make the characters celebrating the 4th of July. I wanted to portray happiness and a very cheerful theme, so what better idea than to do it celebrating this really important event.
Who/what inspires you?
There are so many amazing artists that have and still inspire me every day. Starting with the legendary Mary Blair, Lou Romano, Dominique R. The list goes on and on. There are so many talented people that have influenced my life and so many artists that I look up to. I wish to become as wonderful as they are one day.
