The D23 Expo is billed as “The Ultimate Disney Fan Event” for a reason. Essentially a convention that stretches through all branches of Disney, including Disney Animation, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Disney Consumer Products, and Disney Parks, the 3-day event provides attendees a look at the past and an exclusive look forward to see what is coming. Tens of thousands of people flocked to the 2011 show, which is the last time the Expo was held (it happens every two years). You have the chance to attend as well, and if you want discounted tickets time is running out!

The panels are a significant reason why many head out to the convention. While the large showfloor can easily handle the crowds, the panels are unable to admit everyone. Responding to the exponential growth in the number of attendees, Disney has added overflow rooms for panels to accommodate more people. The company is clearly readying the Anaheim Convention Center to better handle the fans who are understandably enthusiastic to participate in the exciting panels. It will get more attendees into the panels and hopefully leave less people out.
If you have not yet purchased tickets and would like to take advantage of the discounted entry price, you have a few more days in order to do so. The last day for the advance ticket price is June 15, with all tickets going up by $5 afterwards:

Five dollars may not seem like a lot, but that is extra cash to put towards all the exclusives that will be available at the show. Also, if you are buying a number of tickets, it can add up fast. Hotel rooms and flights will only increase in price from here on out, so now would be a good time to take the plunge if you are interested in attending. Purchase your tickets now from the D23 Expo official website.
D23 Expo 2013 is set to be held August 9-11 at the Anaheim Convention Center, which is walking distance from the Disneyland Resort. Discounted tickets for entry into Disneyland parks after 4 pm on convention days will likely be available, so you will have a real shot at enjoying a weekend jam-packed with Disney.
