Tell us about your piece:
The character transformation Carl under goes is very much like that of Ebenezer Scrooge. Instead of a visit from the Three Ghosts of Christmas, Carl goes on an adventure with an overly helpful 8 year old boy, a talking dog and a near-extinct mother bird. By the end of the story, Carl’s zest for life has returned and that is just what I’ve tried to capture in my illustration.
Who/What inspires you?
The wild imagination of children, my family, Charles Schultz, George Herriman, music, challenges and daydreams.

Shameless self-‐promotion:
There is nothing more satisfying in illustration than bringing characters to life and watching them flourish (figuratively speaking of course). I am available to create illustrations & designs for children’s media, educational products, mobile apps or whatever your project may entail. I’ve worked with agencies, publishers, and clients from across the spectrum of industry.
