I currently live in…

I consider my hometown to be…

My Favorite Pixar Movie is…
It’s so tough to choose just one! But I’d have to go with The Incredibles and Ratatouille.
My Favorite Pixar character is…
Edna Mode and Jessie.
Tell us about your piece:
I really wanted to make a fun little painting for the holidays featuring one of my favorite Pixar ladies. I feel like the holidays at Edna’s house would be super stylish, so I went with that idea!
Who/What inspires you?
I get inspiration from so many places-music, nature, art. Artists like Mary Blair, Richard Scarry, Eyvind Earle, Jim Flora, and Alice and Martin Provensen really inspired me to do what I do. I’m constantly finding motivation and inspiration in mid-century design and art, cartoons, monster movies, vintage picture books, antiques and 1950’s kitsch.
Recommend something, anything to our readers:
Always stop at used bookstores and antique shops, you never know what kind of treasure you’ll find there!
