Finding Nemo 3D is still a few weeks away from release in North America, but Monsters, Inc. 3D is not too far behind. Last month, Disney bumped up the release of the original Monsters film, claiming December for its new month of release – that puts the film just under four months away. You likely will not see posters for Monsters in theater lobbies until Nemo has arrived, but we have a sneak peek at the poster you will be seeing. Take a look at the great poster after the break!
MoviePoster.com has put up an image of the Monsters, Inc. 3D poster (via IMP Awards, via Stitch Kingdom), which makes great use of Mike’s one eye. We are still waiting for a hi-res version to be released by Disney/Pixar, but enjoy this for now:
It is an awesome variation of a poster we saw back in 2001 for the original run of Monsters, Inc., where Mike was staring back at us with the same dumbfounded look on his face:
