There is something special about enjoying a film in a theater, surrounded by fellow film lovers. Although there has been an increase in annoying cellphone usage in theaters over the past decade, many of us have fond memories of viewing classic films on the big screen. If you are looking to rekindle your appreciation for some Pixar classics, there’s good news, everyone – AMC and Disney/Pixar are teaming up to return four Pixar films to theaters for one weekend only. Find more details after the break!
Ratatouille, WALL-E, Up, and Toy Story 3 are heading to select AMC Theatres across the U.S. for Memorial Day Weekend. Dubbed “Disney Pixar Summer Movie Weekend,” the four films are the most recent Pixar feature films (pre-Cars 2, at least). Packed with fantastic writing, originality, and a wide range of emotion, this is going to be one special weekend. From May 25-28, each of the four films will screen once at participating theaters.
The prospect of viewing Pixar classics in theaters is exciting by itself – however, each film print will be accompanied by an exclusive look at the upcoming Brave, enlightening viewers on the story of the monstrous demon bear Mor’du, who is a force of nature in the film. Prices for the screenings start at just $6, though there is some fine print that says “pricing may vary.”
