Does this image make you feel strangely happy? From Brazillian storyboard and character artist Bruno Chekerdimian Barreto comes this wonderful tribute to Finding Nemo. See more of Bruno’s great work at his blog and read on for more about this talented artist in his own words.

I currently live in… São Paulo, Brazil

I consider my hometown to be… São Paulo

My Favorite Pixar Movie is …
It’s hard to mention one movie. I think Ratatoullie, Finding Nemo, Wall-E and Up are my favorite ones. Every time these movies are on TV I stop to watch it!

My Favorite Pixar character is…
Remy from Ratatoullie. I identify myself with him because he never gives up his dreams of being a great chef. Like him I never give up of being a great artist. I love what I do – art is in my veins.

Tell us about your piece:
I think this part of Finding Nemo is so funny – Dory and Marlin dive into the darkness to find the mask with the address where Nemo is, then find that bright thing and get hypnotized without realizing the danger. I love the expressions they have and the dialogue between them trying to know what that light is!

Who/What inspires you?
First, God – I’m so thankful for His blessings and for my life. Second my family – I learned from my parents to never give up. Then, a lot of artists and their artwork – it wouldn’t be fair if I mention one or two artists here, so you can check out my blog for a list of artists that inspire me everyday. Cartoons, character designs, paintings, storyboards and many other things inspire me, too!

Recommend something, anything to our readers:
I recommend two sites. The first one made me find a lot of new artists – http://characterdesign.blogspot.com.br/

Shameless self-promotion:
