With the film’s release date being less than two months away now, word has arrived that the new trailer for Brave will hit the web tomorrow. Recently, we have been getting new featurettes, with them providing us some exposition on Merida’s story and her triplet brothers but also previewing some new footage. There has been a new trailer playing with Disney’s Chimpanzee, which opened on Friday, so the new trailer is likely the one playing in theaters.
The Brave Facebook page had the following to say earlier today:
Tomorrow, the will o’ the wisps will lead you to the new trailer for Brave.
The Disney/Pixar Twitter had a similar story:
Tomorrow, get ready for the will o’ the wisps to lead you to the new trailer for #Brave.
There has been no word on what time of day the trailer will premiere. I just hope it doesn’t arrive at midnight PT (3 AM ET) like the last trailer did (I am sure east coasters like me will agree). I guess we will know for sure very soon.
Will we get some new footage? I sure hope we do, but at the same time, I don’t want it to reveal too much. Pixar trailers are usually quite good at keeping major plot points out of trailers, so I hope that line of thinking at the marketing machine prevails.
Check back here tomorrow for the new trailer!
