Artist Steven Thibaudeau has created an awesome mash-up between the worlds of Up and Super Mario called 1UP, and is selling t-shirts and hoodies sporting the design.
Disney Parks Talent Casting has already started its search for Merida look-a-likes. In their description for the character, it reads, “Female: 5’4” – 5’6” the heroine of Disney Pixar’s new feature film BRAVE, she is impetuous, rough and tumble, strong-willed, determined and playful.”
Artist James Hance has prints of a great Up/Star Wars mash-up for sale.
Employees who have been at Pixar for 10 years receive a special bronze Buzz statue. Those who have been there for 20 years are honored with a bronze Woody statue. Since Pixar just had its 26th Anniversary, I’m left wondering what the 30 year award will look like. Perhaps a bronze Luxo, Jr.?
Pixar Times reader Jarett took a shot from the Japanese Brave trailer and turned it into sweet fan art.
Pixar employee Peter Moxom used an app to turn the regular La Luna poster into a textural one.
Artist Chris Anderson, who has contributed great designs to our Pixar Knick Knacks art project, has some great Pixar artwork up on his site, including the Sheriff Woody piece above. Also, those Pixar playing cards Chris designed look pretty kick-ass.
Above is a shot of Disney California Adventure from above that shows us the sheer scope of Carsland. Almost the entire right side of the picture is the new section of the park, which is set to open on June 15.
The official Pixar site has been updated with a page for La Luna, which will be screening with Brave this summer.
The team filming the entire Toy Story in live-action form had an unfortunate accident recently. If you are a toy lover, this is a strong warning that you may grimace upon viewing the video.
