Funny: iPhone & Siri Find Their Way Into ‘Finding Nemo 3D’

January 10, 2012 by Samad Rizvi 2 Comments

Finding Nemo‘s Dori (EDIT: doh! – meant Dory) is considered one of the funniest characters in the Pixar film catalog, with much of the credit going to the voice delivery by Ellen Degeneres. With Finding Nemo 3D coming to theatres in September of this year, as pointed out by Upcoming Pixar, Ellen decided to feature the film with a spot on her daytime talk show. You can tell that not everything is as it seems when Ellen introduces an ‘updated’ clip from the film. Check it out here!

Hey, it looks like Siri even works underwater! If only Marlin had an iPhone 4S the first time around.

Putting aside the snark for a second, Apple and Pixar have always had a close relationship, with Apple-like products often showing up in Pixar films and clips from Pixar films showing up in Apple keynotes to the press. It’s amusing to see Ellen and Pixar playfully mocking that.
