New ‘John Carter’ Poster Is Shocking Red

November 28, 2011 by Samad Rizvi Leave a Comment

With a new trailer coming later this week, Disney has debuted a brand new poster for the live-action John Carter. The first poster for the film received a bit of a mixed reaction, as it was very mysterious and did not provide any hints as to the storyline of the film. However, I believe that this new poster not only provides tidbits about the story, but it also does it with some style. Courtesy of iTunes Movie Trailers, take a look at the great-looking poster after the jump.

The red poster (Mars is the red planet – get it?) tells us that this film will be an other-worldly tale. You can even see Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe) and other members of his alien race following behind John Carter (Taylor Kitsch). Now, this is an eye-catching poster.

John Carter arrives in theatres on March 9, 2012.
