Videos of the Day: Finding Nemo Blu-ray Teaser, Pixar Veteran Bud Luckey Surprises Child With Visit

October 5, 2011 by Samad Rizvi 1 Comment

Yesterday, Disney and Pixar announced that both Finding Nemo and Monsters, Inc. would return to theaters to play in the 3D format. Nemo is the last feature film in the Pixar library to not make the transition to Blu-ray, but that is about to change, as today Disney has released a teaser trailer for the high-definition release. On a different front, we have another video, but this one is grounded in the real world. A young boy named Evan in Billings, Montana, who is seeking a heart transplant, received a visit from retired Pixar animator Bud Luckey. Needless to say, it is pretty emotional. Watch the videos here.

Here is the Finding Nemo Blu-ray teaser, courtesy of the Disney Movies channel on YouTube:

We still do not have a confirmed release date for the Blu-ray sets, but with the film hitting theaters again in September 2012, the Blu-ray cannot be far behind.

Turning to our other video of the day, Bud Luckey, who was instrumental in the creation of Woody and over the past few years served as the narrator for the Boundin’ short and the voice of Chuckles in Toy Story 3, visited eight-year-old Evan to provide some happiness to the young boy, as the search for a heart transplant begins. The video, courtesy of KULR8, is a great one:
