Help Group Build Real Pizza Planet Truck

September 9, 2011 by Samad Rizvi Leave a Comment

One needs to go no further than the real-life Up house that was built in Utah recently to see the amount of joy people experience from seeing objects from Pixar films come to life. That house has received an incredible amount of media attention and has also brought a huge influx of visitors to the neighborhood of the home’s locale. A different group wants to bring another iconic piece of Pixar to the real world – the Pizza Planet truck. Read on to watch a video where they talk about what they plan to do, and find out how you can help!

I had a chance to meet with a few members of the team at the D23 Expo and it sure was easy to see the passion they had to bring this project to fruition. They are looking for some help with the funding process, as they plan to not only build the truck, but also go on a road trip to Emeryville, the home of Pixar. Along the way, they will be interviewing students and others on how Pixar films have influenced them in their lives.
