Disney/Pixar Releases Plethora Of Cars 2 Concept Art

April 20, 2011 by Samad Rizvi 1 Comment

Today was a big day for Cars 2, as Disney/Pixar has provided us with the widest look at the film yet. Over the past few months, a few images of concept art from the upcoming film have been released here and there. While they gave us glimpses at the various locales the film will visit, they were nothing like what we now have our hands upon today. Stunning really does not capture the essence of the artistic talent seen here, but take a look and see the 20 pieces for yourself!

We have definitely seen some of this artwork before – on book covers, in trailers, and also in final images that have been released from the film. When we see the final product on the big screen, we do not usually tend to think about the large amount of artwork that is created before any animation begins. I think we can all agree that the artwork is beautiful and we would love to see more! That is why we are especially excited about “The Art of Cars 2” book that will accompany the film. That book is going to be gorgeous.

Cars 2 hits theaters in a little over 2 months – June 24!
