New Cars 2 TV Spot Premieres During Daytona 500

February 21, 2011 by Samad Rizvi 2 Comments

Twitter lit up yesterday when a Cars 2 television commercial made a surprise appearance during the annual Daytona 500. It includes lots of new footage so it was quite a delight to watch. Check it out below:

Now, who isn’t pumped after watching that?! <–Rhetorical

It is not the full-length trailer that we have been expecting, but it lays out the story trajectory very nicely. However, do not think that we know how the film is going to end now. Pixar is notorious for releasing trailers and descriptions that leave out important details that are essential to the film’s plot. The movie-watching experience is always more fun that way, as we will likely be surprised with an ending we were not expecting.

June 24th is the big day for Cars 2 and it is fast approaching! A full-length trailer should hit sometime next month.
