Pixar Short Films Mystery Pin Collection

December 26, 2010 by Samad Rizvi Leave a Comment

Once in a while, you have to buy yourself some presents too. A few weeks ago, I placed an order for some new limited edition Pixar Short Films collectible pins, and they arrived just in time for Christmas! Being unable to visit either Walt Disney World or Disneyland often (I live in New York City), I do not tend to pay attention to the Disney Parks exclusives that come out throughout the year. One day, however, Pixar veteran Jeff Pidgeon tweeted about the existence of some Pixar pins. My eyes grew wide with curiosity and I literally ran to place an order for some. Now, I did not sit by the door waiting for my order to arrive, but I was ecstatic when they did come in the mail. Check out some images of the packaging below.

Looks great, doesn’t it? I hadn’t even opened the boxes yet and already, I was in love. I’ve always had bad luck with ‘msytery boxes,’ as I tend to encounter doubles. To my surprise, I was in luck this time – I received four unique pins:

The images really do not do the pins justice. In person, they are stunning works of art. As an avid collector of all things Pixar, I could not be happier with adding the pins to my collection.

If I know my fellow Pixar fans, you’re probably yelling at me now, wondering how you can get your hands on some of these. They are limited, so it all depends on whether Disney has any left available for sale. You get 2 pins in each box, which retails for $19.99. For more information on how you can score yourself some Pixar Short Films pins, visit the Disney Store.
