Taking a look at Amazon.com’s bestsellers list, the 4-Disc combo pack of Toy Story 3 is currently ranked at #1 in the Movies and TV section. The 4-Disc set (which includes 2 Blu-Ray Discs, 1 DVD, and 1 Digital Copy Disc) has a suggested retail price of $45.99 (although Amazon has it up for $28.99) and is also the #1 most-wished-for-item on the list. Meanwhile, the 1-disc DVD set ($16.99 on Amazon) is sitting at #6 on the bestsellers list and is the third most-wished-for-item.
Interestingly, the 2-disc Blu-Ray set seems to be flying under the radar, currently at #249. It looks like those placing pre-orders have no qualms about going for the set with the most amount of bells and whistles. The 4-disc set is only a few dollars more, which is likely also encouraging early buyers to choose it instead of the Blu-Ray only set.
Toy Story 3 has been on Amazon’s bestsellers list practically since the moment the retailer listed the Blu-Ray and DVD sets for pre-order. Looks like fans are eager to own the third and final (?) part of the Toy Story trilogy, and boy, there are a lot of fans out there. The waiting game continues, as the U.S. is a little over two months away from the home release of Toy Story 3. November 2, here we come.
