He’s a decorated composer who has an instantly recognizable voice. When you hear the words, “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” sung by this man, a warm feeling comes over you. Not only does he sing, but he puts together beautiful musical arrangements, as heard in the ‘Toy Story’ films and ‘Monsters, Inc.’. He’s none other than Randy Newman.

The winner of five Grammy Awards, two Emmys, and an Academy Award received something else entirely on Wednesday, June 2, 2010. His name etched on a star joined the ranks of over 2,000 others who will live on forever on Hollywood’s famous “Walk of Fame”. Newman, currently 66 years young, recently completed the score for Pixar’s upcoming ‘Toy Story 3’, which debuts in North American theaters on June 18.
