Disney/Pixar has been releasing clips from Cars 2 left and right recently. A little over a week ago, we shared a clip of Mater strolling through Tokyo International Airport and meeting new character Finn McMissile for the first time. It was the first time we saw Finn’s ability to alter his appearance, which can be a huge asset as a spy. Now, we have the continuation of that clip, where Finn shows off a few more of his abilities, and proceeds to become a more awesome character than we thought he could be. A spy movie needs that great character who is incredibly resourceful and can get him or herself out of any sticky situation. In Cars 2, Finn McMissile (voiced by Michael Caine) joins the ranks as a master spy with quite a large collection of gadgets. Like a true spy, his design needed to be clever enough so he would not have “Spy” tattooed all over him, meaning he would need to look “normal” at first glance so as to avoid being caught outright by his enemies. The Cars 2 team had their work cut out for them – they would need to make Finn look slick and also have all his gadgets tucked away until he needed them. On the heels of the release of a 360-degree turntable video of Cars 2‘s Lightning McQueen, Disney has released a second video in the series: Finn McMissile. The much anticipated new character in the film is to be voiced by none other than Sir Michael Caine. Watch as the character shows off a few of his spy skills:
I am sure that we will be seeing more of these videos as we approach the release of the next trailer. Cars 2 is set for release on June 24, a little over five months from now!
