EW Debuts First Official Still From Brave

In the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, the popular magazine has debuted the first official still from Pixar’s 2012 film, Brave. Prior to this, we had only seen concept art and a poster, which EW has all debuted in the past. However, the poster only gave us a look at Princess Merida from the back. Now, without further ado, here it is – the first official look at the main character.

(UPDATE 6/24/11 7:00 AM): Thanks to our friends at Stitch Kingdom, we can present a hi-res image that makes us even more excited about this movie than we were 12 hours ago. Make sure to enlarge it, because it’s a pretty gigantic image:

What a beautiful shot. We can tell that this film is going to look visually spectacular!

Make sure to pick up the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly on newsstands this week, as there is a short article accompanying the image as well.

Brave hits theaters on June 22, 2012!

    This film looks like it’s going to be stunning. Match that with a different direction in narration for Pixar and I think it’s going to be huge. I for one cannot wait for it to be released. I’ll be there day one!

    She looks amazing, I love her hair!! and I think the actress Kelly Macdonald doing her voice will be just perfect cause I loved her in Boardwalk empire! I’m so looking forward for the trailer!
