Those at Pixar have always generously donated their time and talent to support numerous charities. On November 20, the Mother Hen Project will feature artists’ work for auction. The great part? Many of the contributors work (or have previously worked) at Pixar!
From the project’s blog:
The Mother Hen Project is an art exhibition and auction to raise much needed funds for Chicks In Crisis. The project launched on Mother’s Day, May 9th, 2010. The exhibit and auction, featuring work by internationally acclaimed artists, animators, illustrators and graphic designers will take place on November 20th 2010, during National Adoption Awareness Month.
Director Pete Docter, Brenda Chapman, Ralph Eggleston, and Teddy Newton are only a few of the numbers of people at Pixar who submitted an artistic piece. One of the pieces that Pete Docter provided is seen below:
Breathtaking, isn’t it? The proceeds from the auction of this stunning piece, along with the many you can see on The Mother Hen Project’s blog, will go towards a great cause – supporting the adoption of children and the parents who are involved.
